Featuring the best views of the awesome waterfall sharing its name, Canada’s Niagara Falls is a small city promising more than just a stunning insight into the power of nature.
By day, view the falls from the riverfront promenade, or for an up-close-and-personal experience, the Hornblower Niagara Cruise takes you right into the swell. Rain ponchos are provided. Alternatively, there’s the Journey Behind the Falls – a walk through the rock behind Niagara. Handy portholes help you experience the thundering water.
Slightly downstream are the American Falls, less well-known and less impressive, but worth a look. At night, both falls get illuminated by colored lights – an incredible sight. Further downstream is the Rainbow Bridge which you can walk across to get an American stamp in your passport. Just check your visa requirements first.
The city itself has 7 golf courses, with one right by the river – be careful with your swing! Other Niagara Falls attractions include casinos, movie theaters and Marineland Canada, featuring the world's largest whale habitat for viewing orcas both above and below ground.
Unless you fly into Niagara Falls Airport on the US side, you’ll probably arrive by car. So check out the hotels, apartments, motels and more on Booking.com with easy parking options.
Niagara Falls, nowadays is a rip-off. It is overrated, overpriced with a terrible customer service. Restaurants are forcing you to pay a tip in addition to the NFDF (Niagara Falls Destination Fee). They wouldn't even ask you or give you the option to select the amount of tips you want to pay. They would simply include 18% in your bill and tell you could pay higher if you want.
The average price for person in a restaurants like TGI Friday's and RainForest Cafe is around $70 with a lousy customer service and ordinary food.

Great Views of the Falls, absolutely amazing experience.
Great Views of the Falls, absolutely amazing experience. Lots of places to take long walks. The WE-GO buses were reasonably priced and a great way to get about.
No easy access to across the border, you can walk but they need some sort of shuttle. (From the Canadian side to the American side) you had to use Taxi generally. You could walk but took a while, 40minutes or so.

It is a great place for kids.
It is a great place for kids. I honestly felt a weird vibe this time that I went during low season. For me, the whole Niagara Falls city needs a major renovation. I would consider Niagara on the Lake instead for an adult couple visiting. Clifton Hills attractions are always more of the same...
The new OLG Theatre is bringing more interesting attractions than usual.

The Niagara Falls is a stunning and beautiful spot, If you are going to get a taxi please confirm the price before you hop in or ask if it has a meter as I got ripped off quite badly with this one,.The Canadian side does have a better view of the falls and is cheaper,. However all the people smoking weed down the main street is a total turn off ,. If you are conservative or come from a conservative Country you may prefer the American side,.

There is PLENTY to do in Niagara Falls.
There is PLENTY to do in Niagara Falls.
If you want to avoid those pesky "Tourism Fees", I would suggest you stay outside of the Tourist area (Stanley Avenue, Ferry Street, Fallsview Ave., Lundy's Lane). But .. If don't mind the extra fees, and just wanna have fun - there are great family spots on Clifton Hill, arcades, wax museums, souvenir shops, restaurants. My recommendation is "The Keg". The food is EXCELLENT and the prices are mid-range.
The "All you can Eat" breakfast is good too for $10.99 CAD .. but note that drinks (non-alcoholic) are NOT included in the price. Bumper Cars, glow in the dark golf, skee ball and arcade are what I recommend on Clifton Hill. But AVOID the Skylon Tower arcade in their basement at all costs! It's dead, run-down, creepy, and two years ago someone got sexually assaulted there while exiting the washroom. That place SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN ASAP. It's like a ghost town down there, with hardly any security or people there.
Other than that, stick with the popular sights, and you'll have a GREAT time!
Travelodge by Wyndham Niagara Falls At the Falls offers a convenient and budget-friendly option for those looking to explore the beauty of Niagara Falls. The hotel's location is excellent, situated within walking distance of the falls and other popular attractions, especially Clifton Hill.
The rooms at Travelodge are clean and comfortable, and provide all the basic amenities you need for a pleasant stay. While the decor may not be the most modern, the rooms are well-maintained and offer a cozy retreat after a day of sightseeing.
I have been to Niagara several times and first time enjoyed the falls so much by staying at the hotel. We were awed by the spectacular view of the falls from the room. The beds were extra comfortable, room impeccably clean, had a jacuzzi in the room which was a plus. The Spa is awesome!! We enjoyed so much the thermal pool. The staff, the service extremely wonderful. We highly recommend anyone to take at least a day in the hotel to enjoy Niagara falls at its best. Thank you for making our stay so dreamy.
The location of the Hotel is really good as it takes 20 minutes to both Niagara Falls, and Clifton Hills, and many restaurants and other amenities. Parking was provided and it was a great complimentary as I had to pay for the parking for my previous stays in Niagara. Staff welcomed us, especially the check-in staff, and provided a lot of information about the surrounding area in Niagara & its attractions. Offered welcoming vouchers and very useful if you are travelling as a family.
Views views views!!!! Literally the closest hotel to Niagara falls.
I was worried that the photos online could be misleading but our room had fantastic views just like the photos I've seen, if not better!
Watched the sunset at the restaurant in the hotel and the sunrise from the room when we woke up and it was just phenomenal.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting niagara falls for the first time.
The front office staff, Mr. Guljit, Ms.Jenny and an Indian (Sikh) young girl were extremely welcoming and helpful. When I requested Mr.Guljit to upgrade us to Fallsview room, he took full interest and allocated us a good room at the required charges. The location of hotel is excellent, just a few minutes walk to the Niagara falls and all main attractions.
Well located. We travel frequently to Niagara Falls and I have always been curious to stay here. Price was under $200 so stayed one night. We had one of the outside access rooms facing the domes. Nice size room. Good aircon. Clean. Pretty standard room. Wouldn't pay more than $200 though as there are many hotels in NF for less and just as nice.
fabulous room, very good breakfast, lovely staff. The largest hotel room I have ever stayed in. we were upgraded to a room with a spa tub. Excellent restaurant downstairs. Easy access to walk or bus to the falls. Niagara Falls was much better than I had expected. Yes the town has a lot of kitsch but also a lot of beauty.
Everyone from the front desk to the waitresses and waiters in the restaurant to housekeeping. Every single person that worked at this hotel was phenomenal. I absolutely recommend staying here again. And when we return to Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, we will!!
thank you, thank you, thank you.
We really liked our room. It was a big corner room with a river view. We could enjoy the Niagara Falls view as well. There is a swimming pool in the hotel with a sauna. We enjoyed swimming both in the afternoon when we arrived, and in the morning before we had some coffee in our room.
my family and I travel to Niagara Falls often and always stay at this hotel. every time we come it’s always an enjoyable experience. the view is amazing, staff is lovely, pool is great & so is the hot tub. always a relaxing stay & will always stay at this hotel every time I am there!
The hotel staff called me saying the hotel got some maintenance issue and transferred me to
Hilton Niagara Falls/ Fallsview Hotel And Suites, with the Falls View room as I booked.
However the actual view is not as show in the picture, the Fall is actually further away.
Although the hotel does need some updating & renovating, I must say that the beds were comfortable and rooms were relatively clean, especially for the price. As well, location is prefect... right between Niagara Falls & Niagara-on-the-lake.
Great location. Close to all amenities. Free parking is a bonus. Staff very pleasant. Room was nice and comfortable. This hotel serves its purpose without the screaming high prices, that is Niagara Falls.
